Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience • Current certifications necessary for performing the following field work: On-site air sample analysis (NIOSH 582), asbestos surveys (AHERA Building Inspector), and asbestos abatement project design (AHERA Project Designer). • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a project manager including financial management, and 10 years of experience as an active AHERA Project Designer. • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. • Proficient business development, marketing and sales skills. • Understanding of and compliance with IE's policies and procedures. • Ability to manage and or direct other managers in the use of project schedules. • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. The Commercial/Industrial/Federal Remediation Services of URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented operations manager for the Property Redevelopment Business Line. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career specific to investigation and remediation services, as well as business development and managing staff resources. As the Property Redevelopment Business Line Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a group of less than ten (10) employees, as well as selling, managing and doing environmental consulting primarily related to assessment and remediation of asbestos, lead, mold, PCBs and other related contaminants. Responsibilities will include: • Business development, preparation of proposals, client management, financial management, scheduling employees and project management. • Report to the Commercial/Industrial/Federal Remediation Department Manager. • Make decisions independently on problems. • Provide leadership, mentorship, training and direction to staff on the team. • Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. • Be proficient in terms of business development, marketing and sales skills. • Be committed to the understanding of and compliance with URS policies and procedures. • Have the ability to manage and or direct other staff in the use of project schedules.
