TNC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Nature Conservancy is looking for an experienced communications practitioner to join the Eastern Region Marketing team. The position will be based in The Nature Conservancy’s Miami office and will report to the Director of Marketing, Florida Chapter, with a dotted line to the Florida State Director. S/he will join the Eastern Division Marketing team supporting the Florida Chapter in the development, creation and implementation of strategic marketing programs/initiatives to ensure department and organization-wide marketing goals and strategies are achieved, particularly in the South Florida/Miami market. The ideal candidate has in-depth experience in client and account management, has strong media relations skills and experience working with international and local media in the South Florida area. Specific media responsibilities include:
In addition to media support, the manager will work closely with The Director of Marketing to help build brand awareness throughout the Florida Chapter, whether through creative public relations strategies or other means necessary. The Marketing Manager will also help design and implement effective strategies to gain and retain members and strategically build awareness among key industry and government leaders.
