Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, watershed management or related field or equivalent relevant experience.

Minimum six years of relevant work experience.

Successful candidate should be able to work independently or with a team. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills a must, in addition to skills in communication, technical writing, and field assessment.

Valid Driver's License.

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

Job Description:

Position has a great potential for career growth. The successful candidate will be part of a large and diverse team of scientists and engineers that is responsible for environmental permitting in the Mid-Atlantic region, particularly Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The team provides permitting services to all business lines, including transportation, pipelines, power, oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, etc. Work will include but is not limited to state and federal permit applications and technical studies associated with:
*Wetlands
*Stream Encroachment
*Waterfront Development Permits
*Water Use
*Fish & Wildlife Special Use
*Water Diversion
*NEPA Compliance
*Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Permit

Responsibilities also include providing technical support and leadership in report preparation, ecological modeling, and field investigation.
