The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for working with all levels of management, in a reporting and analytics role to optimize business performance of our Sales & Marketing organization. They will take a direct role in the compilation and presentation of data. They will use sales programs, Business Intelligence tools, and maintain departmental reporting & dashboards to increase efficiency and aid operations. The Sales Operations Business Analyst will work with the CRM tool Salesforce.com and other sales and marketing related technologies to help support the operations of the Sales & Marketing organization.
Responsibilities:
- Detailed data analysis on internal processes and productivity
- Produce and deliver standard sales reports on a routine basis to support Sales & Marketing, and company operations initiatives
- Assist the Director of Sales Operations with the development and implementation of Sales, Marketing, and company operations metrics, dashboards and reports
- Work with Director of Sales Operations to consult with various business areas to develop report requirements
- Communicate and partner with Sales Operations Systems Administrator to identify and analyze informational and functional requirements
- Analyze and present data to high level decision-makers throughout the company
- Assist the Director of Sales Operations with data modeling and analysis, planning and administration of the Sales compensation plan
- Identify data requirements for specific project or report requests.
- Includes identifying data mapping and definition required to fulfill requests
- Operational and end user documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences, Business Administration, Statistics, Management, Finance, Economics or Marketing 8+ years of professional experience in Business Analysis
- Thorough understanding of databases 2+ years of experience in analytical reporting
- 3 + yrs experience with Salesforce, Oracle, Net Promoter SW (Satmetrix, Medallia, Allegiance, etc)
- 2+ years of experience with Business Intelligence tools
- Experience designing, developing and scripting reports & dashboards
- Ability to act as an internal consultant, working with management and executives to successfully design, develop, test and deliver large data modeling tools, and reports & dashboards
- Strong critical thinking, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
- Desire to work with cutting edge technology and software
- Experience utilizing the Microsoft Suite of solutions, including proficiency in all Microsoft Office products with expertise in MS Excel
- Knowledge and understanding of business terms related to sales, marketing, technology, and finance is preferred
