Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance. Job Description: URS is looking for a Provisioning Analyst to join our team in Crane, Indiana!
The Provisionging Analyst will perform provisioning support for systems, subsystems, and equipment and to provide logistical, technical, and engineering support to Strategic Systems to meet critical missile support systems requirements, including full strategic asset management.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Research, analyze problems, and determine logistics element(s) requirements with minimum supervision. 2. Perform customer interface with minimum supervision to define and report status of routine tasks. 3. Review reports, technical papers, drawings, specifications, procedures etc., and assist with test/evaluations and validations/verifications; provide comments and impacts. 4. Prepare routine draft correspondence (i.e., letters, memos and route sheets), design charts, spreadsheets, Gantt charts, and presentations, and prepare draft analytical reports and meeting minutes. 5. Assist with maintenance of logistics support planning, policy, procedure and similar documents. 6. Support logistics element(s) tasks. 7. May supervise and train entry-level personnel in the technical aspects of assigned work.
Specific Tasking Review, analyze, prepare, and modify provisioning data, and provide support and guidance in the preparation of Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) and related data for NSWC Crane Cognizant Launcher Support Equipment (LSE) include developing and maintaining PTD such as:
• Allowance Change Notices (ACNs), • Provisioning Parts Breakdown's (PPBs), • Provisioning Parts Lists (PPLs), • Allowance Parts Lists (APLs), • Operating Space/Allowance Equipage List (OS/AELs).
Development of procurement packages such as SPALT kits, submitting Source Documentation Change Notices (SDCNs), identifying long-lead items, and determining sparing analysis.
Apply analytical and technical logistic disciplines required to ensure that fielded system capabilities are sustained and ensure that operation and maintenance of these systems is available when required, and that proper sustainment of these systems is supported and documented.
Conduct research and provide documentation for support items, special tools, and support equipment.
Provide program support and prepare presentations (e.g. viewgraphs, storyboards, or slide presentations (computer based viewgraphs), addressing selected topics ) for meetings (e.g. program reviews, technical interchange meetings, logistic meetings, working group meetings, configuration management meetings, design review meetings, and program assessment team meetings) or reviews associated with the tasking.
Document the proceedings, and complete action items and assignments resulting from these meetings.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
