Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or appropriate discipline

Minimum seven years of relevant experience, including roadway pipe system design and roadway channel design

PE Registration required

Experience in bridge hydraulic analysis including HEC-RAS modeling and Microstation

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

Job Description:

The Hydraulics Engineer will perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for roadway and bridge projects in North Carolina.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate design with other engineering work
Manage drainage project team on roadway projects
Perform calculations, run models and make engineering assumptions
Participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain work, etc
Assign tasks to technical or administrative staff
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed above.
