Our Engineering Systems Administrator is responsible for leading the development and execution of unique and/or customized technology solutions for CH2M HILL projects. The incumbent has deep knowledge of multiple subject areas or disciplines; thorough understanding of business objectives, priorities and strategy for own area; and understands industry practices and competitors. He/she provides technical direction for part of a project or discipline, and advice and counsel related to the subject areas. This position may provide resource management to complex projects or technical issues, and may lead a large corporate project. The incumbent analyzes complex issues and uses sound judgment and experience to develop solutions for a wide range of activities and areas, and recommends changes to existing and new policies or procedures.
- Provides technology guidance and expertise for a region, Business Group or for more than one core technology.
- Achieves client expectations for quality, schedule and budget.
- Sets project team expectations.
- Mentors staff associates within selected technology area and supervises and reviews the work of others.
- Plans, directs and organizes and coordinates project activities within the technology for individual or multiple projects.
- Contributes to and maintains client relationships and business development efforts through the identification of project technology application opportunities.
- Implements the technology strategic plan, and applies the firm's risk management strategy.
- Prepares and makes technical presentations within the region and to clients.
- 3D CAD Systems Administration.
- Development and maintenance of 3D catalogs and specifications.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in applicable discipline or equivalent experience.
- SmartPlant 3D and CadWorx experience
- Discipline specific experience of 8 to10 years.
