Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent preferred and two (2) years of job related experience (business education may substitute for year). Experience obtaining and interpreting information, organizing and developing clear and meaningful written communications. Experience which demonstrates knowledge of transportation regulations. Experience planning, directing and supervising transportation functions. Experience conducting briefings and debriefing of air crews. Good oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
Knowledge of US Army, Federal, State, and local training and exercise programs desired. Experience with the Indiana National Guard is a plus.
Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications are required.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Job Description: URS is looking for a Flight Operations Specialist - AMCCO to join our team at Camp Atterbury in Edinburgh, Indiana!
The position is contingent on contract award.
Job Description Conduct preflight briefings for pilots and provide in-flight advisory services. Provide flight services and mission briefings which are relatively small in number.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Conduct preflight pilot briefings in accordance within National Guard regulations and directives. 2. Brief pilots on mission, aircraft and flight plan. 3. Responsible for assuring pilot and crew are qualified in aircraft to be flown and for type of mission to be performed. 4. Responsible for completion of risk analysis projection. 5. Determine when flight requires higher level approving authority. 6. Process extended and local clearances, including examination for conformance with flight rules and regulations. 7. Prepare, maintain and file records, charts, graphs, and reports allied to flight operations and flight training activities such as aircraft utilization reports, air crew information reports, individual flight records, notice to airman (NOTAM) file and airfield data. 8. Supervise on-the-job training of unit flight operations personnel performing equivalent training or accomplishing a split unit training assembly at the facility.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
