The Role

For our Assistant Store Manager position, we are looking for someone who is personable, energetic and highly organised. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing momentum, mentoring In-Store Product Specialists and promoting excellence in customer service. The goal of the individual is to take responsibility for all aspects of the store’s operations while playing an active role front of house. In the Store Manager’s absence, the Assistant manager takes on all operations responsibilities, including but not limited to the successful monitoring achievement of key metrics as set out by the company.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager through recruiting and interviewing candidates.
Assist in the planning, implementation, and follow up of store operational tasks and projects.
Help drive business and deliver set goals through customer service, product knowledge, merchandise presentation and promotion.
Implement all operational policies and procedures in order to satisfy the needs of the customer while helping Tesla to achieve its goals.
Adhere to processes regarding merchandise display and physical inventory.
Support training and development of staff to consistently perform to company standards and goals.
Help manage store expenses, including staffing, supplies, and services.
Represent Tesla in a professional and responsible manner when communicating with others both inside and outside the company.
Continuously improve processes and procedures to improve the Customer Experience from initial education to reservation, order, and delivery.
Assist management line management developing weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports on customer feedback and delivery performance.
Escalate matters that require senior management concurrence in a timely manner to line management.

Requirements

Strong team-player.
Excellent Communication skills, both oral and written.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects at the same time.
Experience in Retail required.
Strong command of English required. Fluency in Dutch and French required.
