Job Description:

CH2M HILL Mechanical Designer - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The challenge? Helping to develop and provide high quality, leading edge heating, ventilating and air conditioning design solutions for large high-tech manufacturing and metals facilities. You will be responsible for delivering quality HVAC design solutions that meet our client and project specifications while working within a multidiscipline engineering team. You should be a self-motivated professional designer with experience working on wet and dry HVAC systems and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each new HVAC design job.

Our Mechanical Designers:

Perform heating and cooling load calculations

Determine HVAC equipment selection

Size, design, layout of HVAC, hydronic, and process systems

Provide coordination between design disciplines and assist in the production of detailed mechanical drawings including plans and P&ID's

Additional Information: Relocation assistance is NOT available for this position. CH2M HILL WILL NOT sponsor an employment visa (e.g., H-1B visa, etc) to fill this position.

Basic Qualifications

AA degree in computer aided drafting

2 years experiene with AutoCAD, and project experience with Revit or AutoCAD MEP doing mechanical design

Experience working on high-tech or metals manufacturing facilities doing mechanical design.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with CH2M HILL mechanical, HVAC and fire protection design

Degree Required

Associates or 2 Year Degree

Preferred Years of Experience
