Job Description:  CH2M HILL Buyer Careers - Hooksett, NH
The challenge? Help deliver safe, reliable and extremely competitive integrated facilities management services that focus on enhancing the life-cycle and performance output of our clients' assets. Our Buyer jobs provide you with an opportunity to act as an agent to our client, by providing purchasing services related to the facilities services, operations and maintenance that we provide for our client's manufacturing/R&D facilities. Each day, you will be the face of CH2M HILL and its client as you perform functions related to procurement, cost controls, report generation, file maintenance, and analytical support. You will also provide general supervision of the CH2M HILL maintenance staff on site. You should be a self motivated professional with a related college degree, at least seven years experience supporting procurement related functions, and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each Buyer job.

Our Buyers:
  • Work on site at our client's facility, providing the highest level of integrated procurement services and support.
  • Supervise the maintenance staff on site. This does not include technical oversight.
  • Lead all assigned procurement activities, coordinate and assist client representatives, and perform all required follow-up functions via purchase order execution.
  • Manage delivery expectations to assure that materials and services, as ordered, will be delivered on schedule, at negotiated prices, and within required timelines and quality standards of our client.
  • Initiate necessary actions to monitor and drive supplier activity, assure value added services are received and track PO closures while communicating effectively with customer base.
  • Provide day to day communications on purchase order activities.
  • Manage tracking and weekly report generation for all services provided.
  • Balance and manage multiple sourcing tasks.
  • Are proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Display exceptional communication and customer service skills in daily email, phone, and face to face interaction with client representatives and suppliers.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience procurement, contract administration, purchasing, or related role
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, or related, or additional 4 years experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 3 years advanced experience utilizing the MS Office Suite
