Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Bachelor's degree, with no experience required (entry-level). PHR certification and/or other certification(s) evidencing compensation knowledge is desirable. Good written communication skills; working knowledge of integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.


Job Description:

Purpose and Scope:

Provides general entry level administrative compensation support for implementing company-wide compensation and retirement/savings plan programs for the Division and/or specific business units.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provides assistance in the over-all compensation administration of a business unit
that includes job pricing/analysis, salary increase processing, etc.

2. Coordinates with the field HR staff to ensure that the job code assigned to employees has a current position description on file and monitors to ensure that new job codes are set-up both in the Finance and HR systems.

3. Provides support to HR staff and managers in revising position descriptions to reflect changes in basic job duties and recommends job reclassifications if needed.

4. Prepares and distributes compensation data to the HR staff and monitors that internal compensation equity analysis processes are completed on all locations.

5. Assists in the biweekly processing of SCA H&W benefits to include coordinating with the field HR staff to ensure that SCA jobs are mapped correctly based on primary duties and responsibilities performed in the SCA contract

6. Performs periodic audits and maintains data accuracy to maintain compliance and that the required Wage Determination (H&W) rates are reflected on the total SCA eligible hours used for SCA calculations.

6. Provides data and assists on internal and external compensation audits.

8. Assists in the submission of federal reporting requirements (EEO1 and VETS100/100A) to include monitoring completion of Affirmative Action Plans for all locations within the business unit assigned.
