Minimum Requirements: Basic Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, and/or Facility Management or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 2. 6+ years of experience in maintenance at a complex research, commercial or industrial facility as an HVAC, electrical, mechanical technician or utility plant operator. 3. At least 2 years experience as supervisor involving developing, mentoring and/or coaching technicians 4. Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
Additional Preferred Qualifications: 1. 5 years experience in a supervisory roll. 2. Technical experience with medium voltage switchgear 3. EPA Universal certification 4. Preventive and predictive maintenance experience. (vibration, ultrasound, alignment) 5. Experience with emergency generators 6. Training and experience with Siemens Apogee and Honeywell EBI BAS systems. 7. IFMA, AFE or BOMA certification. 8. Experience with a CMMS. 9. Experience with MS Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel).
This position may require a valid Driver's License. This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization. All Positions with URS will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location. All Positions with URS may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
Physical Requirements • Have the ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. • Have the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift. • Have the flexibility to bend, stoop and/or squat repetitively during shift. • Have the ability to kneel repetitively during shift. • Have the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis during shift. • Have the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis during shift. • Have the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift. • Have the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

Note: No relocation available. Job Description: URS has a Facilities Maintenance Manager position available in Collegeville, PA. Reporting to the Program Manager, the position is responsible for the overall direction as well as the overall facilities operations to include the safety, training and development of technicians. The Facilities Maintenance Manager directs a workforce of technicians and professionals engaged a variety of activities in the management of a Class "A" 2 plus million square foot research, and office complex. He/she ensures that established company goals and culture are realized while maintaining client relations that will enhance future business and total responsibility for managing all aspects of the contract.
He/she will oversee day-to-day activities for facility support services to include PMs and requested work orders from the CMMS system. He\she is directly responsible for the care and maintenance of the Building Management system, boiler, central utility plants, and associated equipment. Equipment includes, but is not limited to: high-pressure boilers, industrial grade chilled water systems, exhaust fans, compressed air systems, fire water systems, neutralization skids, cooling towers, pumps, DI water, water softeners, surge tanks, etc. Works with key client management in ensuring exemplary daily operations support. Relationship with client must be maintained at the highest level at all times. Communications must be frequent, complete, and of the highest integrity. Problems must be dealt with promptly and effectively and well communicated.
