Purpose of role:
- Co-ordinate the deployment of store systems & technologies into stores in the EMEA Zone.
- Complete deployment tasks as assigned by the EMEA Store Support and Deployment manager
- Provide specialist technical support for all Store technology-related issues as required.
- Work with the EMEA Store Systems, Deployment & Support teams and provide support activities as required to minimize business disruption in Stores
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Co-ordinate deployment of Store systems & technologies into Stores in the EMEA Zone
- Adhere to the end to end IT processes when setting up new stores or relocating, refurbishing or closing current stores.
- Support multiple business driven EMEA Zone Store Deployment projects ensuring appropriate involvement and contribution from peer International IT teams as required.
- Document standards, processes and procedures for operational use of the EMEA Store Deployment team, ensuring close alignment with other EMEA Store teams.
- Resolve all Store Deployment issues escalated by the Store Support team and either bring them to conclusion or escalate them as appropriate to the relevant supplier.
- Provide out of hours 2nd line 'on call' support for EMEA stores
- Work closely together with the Sales Audit Team for SAP integration and testing for new solutions and enhancements.

- Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards of The Body Shop including minimising the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and responsible for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers
- Champions, supports and participates in The Body Shop's Values and Campaigns
Working Relationships & Interfaces :
- Maintain effective relationships across all peer International and Zone IT teams.
- Collaborate closely with Store Deployment teams in other Zones to share best practices, expertise, solutions and operating processes where applicable.
- Develop close working relationships with key EMEA Zone and Market Retail owners
Internal : Brand, Creative Services, Commercial
Experience:
- Experience in POS systems an advantage.
- Good experience in working with vendors and 3rd party service providers.
- Good understanding of The Body Shop's International Retail Processes, POS Systems & Technical Infrastructure
- Good analytical and problem solving skills with a fine eye for detail
- Sound communicator both verbal and written
- Previous experience of designing and developing process and procedures
- Previous knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems and troubleshooting
- A quick "thinker" with the ability to recognise issues and identify solutions.
- Self-motivated and process driven, with experience of working in a fast paced environment, working to deadlines, working alone, and using own initiative.
- Preferably some Retail experience in a non-IT role.
Qualifications:
- Educated to 'A' level standard or equivalent
- Any Microsoft technology knowledge an advantage
