Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Bachelor's Degree and experience required with a minimum of seven years technical and/or operational experience with a minimum of four years leadership in technical, tactical, or operational responses. Master's Degree is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in the information operations field is required with expertise at the Combatant Command level. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizational skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.





Job Description:

URS is seeking an Infomation Operations Subject Matter Expert to perform functions as a senior member on information operations (IO) projects including leading team of IO experts at the operational and strategic levels. Support senior government officials on policy development teams. Develop and support Federal Government cross-Department initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provide expertise and senior leadership as part of support to an IO organization. Assess and identify operational requirements.
2. Lead or participate in discussions that assist in the administration and coordination of activities of junior to senior leaders, developers, executors, and participants of Department of Defense and other Department and Agency planning and operations.
3. Provide functional expertise in support of an IO project, to include developing strategic initiatives and measures of effectiveness. Write manuals, guides, briefs, and after-action reports as required.
4. Lead and/or assist with the preparation of other business unit strategic initiatives and proposals, as required.
