Job Description:  Based in our International Finance team in Littlehampton, West Sussex, the Global Master Data team performance a hugely important function of retail data management. As a Global Master Data co-odinator you will have exposure to many areas of the business and will be involved in both project and transformation work. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with data and spreadsheets, and is a confident communicator.

Purpose of role:

Responsible for the coordination and input of master data in relation to Sites, vendors, customers, articles and EMEA Pricing, maintaining compliance of business data management processes and ensuring accuracy and integrity of content.

Role Definitions
Key Job Accountabilities:


• Provide master data co-ordination by system input across articles, sites, vendors, customers, assortments and merchandise hierarchy across International & EMEA Zones

• Validate all requests, identifying issues before creation/changes are made in the system

• Execution of wholesale and retail price changes for all EMEA Zone Markets

• Produce and disseminate monthly integrity and KPI reports

• Maintain data integrity by performing periodic data cleansing activities and providing business process training

• Support data flow through PIPE clearance within agreed timescales

• Co-ordinate the execution of EMEA franchisee buy-backs supporting all system changes

Other


• Continually improve business working processes, looking for SMART ways to reduce both overall costs and efficiencies within the role

• Assist with routine and ad-hoc reports

• To perform other related duties as assigned or requested

• Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards of The Body Shop including minimising the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and responsible for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers

• Champions, supports and participates in The Body Shop's Values and Campaigns

Personal requirements for role
Experience:


• Extensive use of Microsoft Office 2007 essential, advanced excel preferred

• Previous experience in master data management required

• Proven track record of maintaining high standards of customer focus and service

• Established team player

• SAP experience desirable, but not essential

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level or equivalent
