Project Manager - Exxon Project-Houston
CH2M HILL Project Manager - Exxon-Houston, TX. The challenge? To deliver safe, reliable and extremely competitive operations and maintenance services that focus on enhancing the life-cycle and performance output of our clients' assets. Our Project Manager will oversee a variety of tasks in the operation, maintenance, repair and oversight of our swing shift style 24/7 operations at the client site. The basis of our work for Exxon is treating contaminated water from rain water washing of gypsum stacks at our client site. You will need 40 hour Hazwoper OSHA certification and have supervisory experience. The location of this remedial treatment system is in Pasadena, TX, a suburb of Houston. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Operates industrial facilities to control flow and processing of streams such as water, wastewater, steam, compressed air, sludge and effluents
- Strong Client Interface and Strong Communication Skills establishing rapport and representing the O&M best business practices at this project.
- Strong administration and organizational duties i.e. creating reports, documentation.
- Create and oversee project budget
- Ensure that the team in place receives training and development
- Operates and controls electric motors, pumps, gates, engines, generators and valves into plant to regulate processes. Very strong maintenance knowledge is key at this project.
- Maintains shift log, observes variations in operating conditions and records and interprets meter and gauge readings; makes process adjustments as necessary
- Utilizes data management tools such as computer spreadsheets and programs for daily process control
- Responsible for Performance Planning for employees at site
- Strong experience in health and safety
- Follows oral and written directions
Basic Qualifications - High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years operations and maintenance experience in an industrial setting,
- Must possess a valid driver's license with no major infractions
