CH2M HILL Transportation/Traffic Engineer - Philadelpia, PA The challenge? Helping our communities stay safely on the move. CH2M HILL's Philadelphia office is seeking a high energy, team player to join us as a Transportation/Traffic Engineer. This opportunity is your chance to work on complex transportation projects to include traffic operational analysis and design, safety studies and analysis, corridor studies, reviewing policy and providing direction to assist in saving lives on roadways, and traffic impact analyses. You will work on challenging and exciting major planning and design projects. The majority of work will be associated with state DOT's and local program projects, involving microsimulation and other modeling techniques, as well as ITS infrastructure planning and design. This position requires a BS (MS preferred) in Civil Engineering with 3-5 years of experience. Our top candidate will have the ability to communicate and coordinate with clients and stakeholders, understands data analysis, and is interested in applying highway safety research to transportation planning and design projects. This position includes involvement in marketing project work as well as the technical work on the projects. Ability to manage projects to keep on schedule and budget is required. Experience leading traffic studies and working with design teams on large projects is desired. Exposure to and working knowledge with InRoads, Civil3D, and Microstation is preferred. Demonstrated success working in a team environment is required. Experience using Access databases and GIS and a desire to grow both professionally as well as personally with each engineering career opportunity. Basic Qualifications
