OFFICE LOCATION Arlington, Virginia (VA) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Corporate Engagement team is responsible for implementing the Conservancy's Corporate Engagement strategy, focusing on working with priority companies to improve business practices, generate philanthropy or support conservation policy. The Corporate Engagement Coordinator provides administrative, research, analytical, writing, organizing and general office support to Senior Advisors focusing on the Conservancy's Energy, Mining & Infrastructure and Climate & Disaster Risk Reduction global strategies. He/She serves a critical role on the corporate engagements team, monitoring progress on priority corporate relationships and building knowledge and skills related to corporate sustainability practices. The coordinator for Energy, Mining & Infrastructure and Climate & Disaster Risk Reduction works on a variety of activities and strategies, which may include organizing, maintaining, and tracking corporate lists, files, and databases for engagements with specified global strategies. The Coordinator is responsible for running reports, coding checks, tracking pledges and projections, and preparing proposal and stewardship reports for these engagements as well as meeting preparation and implementation including research, preparing briefings on these corporate relationships for the CEO and senior leadership, and coordinating meeting logistics. Additionally, this position will provide support to create internal and external publications and presentations, Business Council support and coordination and additional team support.
