Minimum Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent and five years' experience in administrative / secretarial / clerical experience. • Ability to effectively communicate both orally (in common English narration) and in writing (to include technical documentation). • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and tight deadlines, work independently, and work in a team environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office 2010 or later with particular emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, and other applicable database and office automation products. • Able to obtain a favorable determination from the DHS Background Investigation. • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. Job Description: The Infrastructure and Environment Division of URS is actively seeking a creative, talented Administrative Assistant for immediate employment for a federal client in Washington, DC. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in providing oversight including collecting and coordinating maintenance information and reporting irregularities to the client. • The Incumbent will work along alongside the Government and URS staff on a wide range of typical office functions such as receiving and distributing correspondence such as transmittals and submittals, ordering supplies, coordinating meetings, answering the telephone, filing documents electronically and hard copy and, in general, working closely with the URS Office Manager. • Director Support: The incumbent shall provide Director Support to assist with project development for the FOFPMO Facilities. Director Support to include setting up meetings, conducting back-up support, coordination with the Communications team, providing note assistance with the PID weekly meeting, and all initiatives pertaining to leadership.
• Human Resources Support: The incumbent shall provide Human Resource support to assist with project development for the FOFPMO Facilities; assist with the updating and tracking of user accounts, BI package, Kastle Cards, KMS employee directory, etc.; and, attend weekly meeting with OR&S and provide meeting minutes and progress reports.
• Training Support: The incumbent shall participate in the TBWG and FM&E Training Board monthly meetings and provide monthly a list of new training requirements to be uploaded to the KMS Training Page.
