Minimum Requirements: Vocational School or Associates Degree plus minimum 2 years experience OR seven (7) years experience plus specific training and advanced knowledge in military radar operations, analysis, data collection and troubleshooting. CTA Radar forensics experience is highly preferred.
Position requires exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with senior Army leadership.
Excellent analytical skills and working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs are required.
Must be able to pass / maintain a DoD Security Clearance - active clearance is strongly preferred. Travel to and from the theater of operations may be required.

The CTA Radar Technician will perform a wide range of forensic analysis and review tasks; provides technical data and evaluation for radar components, equipment and systems; coordinates and works closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines.
The CTA Radar Technician serves as a member of the forensics team responsible for managing and conducting forensics analysis of fielded US Army CTA radar systems. The Technician will support the warfighter and PM Radar staff regarding the technical aspects of forensics data collection, data transfer, and data analysis considerations affecting employment of the CTA radars and their capabilities. This includes providing indirect fire analysis and troubleshooting enemy indirect fire events in order to enhance the targeting and friendly force protection posture.
Responsibilities include the following: - Supports the management of data analysis required to determine Health & Welfare on all fielded radars included in the Department of Army Life Cycle Acquisition process. - Reviews and identifies data analysis deficiencies with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) radar systems that will fix operational problems with all deployed radars engaged in current military conflicts. - Reviews the methods and data collection techniques that deployed Military units will employ to introduce real time operational solutions against active threat situations to ultimately resolve active deficiencies seen with CTA Radars involved with current Theater threat sets. - Track operational unit status and provide updates as required. - Answer critical information requests. - Coordinate and track routine tasks - Participates on weekly calls with various organizations concerning IDF forensics issues. - Prepares briefs, fact sheets, and reports used to brief the forensics team and other senior leadership personnel. - Captures lessons learned and other relevant data for PM Radars.
