ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Executive Assistant is a valuable member of the Worldwide Office Development division.  The position requires strong administrative and organizational skills, superb attention to detail and deadlines, an ability to track and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, and excellent oral and written communications.  S/he must have a proven ability to multitask, work within tight deadlines and bring effective solutions.  S/he performs a variety of administrative tasks, which will include travel arrangements and meeting logistics, scheduling, reporting and tracking information.  S/he provides comprehensive administrative support for the Chief of Staff for the Development division, and limited support for select members of his management team.  Includes frequent interaction with Conservancy staff from across the organization and so requires strong relationship-building skills.  S/he works closely with other support staff to build a cohesive team while exhibiting leadership qualities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree and 1 year related experience or equivalent combination. 
  • Experience with MS Office, including use of the Internet.
  • Experience coordinating projects, setting realistic deadlines, managing a timeline, or related activities.
  • Experience working with a wide range of people, such as board of directors, donors, volunteers, the public and/or all levels of staff.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize time, manage diverse activities and meet deadlines.
  • Database management skills with ability to produce reports.  Fluency in - or willingness to learn - Excel and Team Approach.
  • Good interpersonal skills and high degree of professionalism in all interactions.
