TNC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Development Finance Manager will be responsible for recording, analyzing, consolidating and interpreting financial data, including reporting on financial results and monitoring and documenting the use of funds related to specific gifts. The Manager will reconcile the holding accounts related to fundraising and the annual budget for the Philanthropy division of $20 million. S/he will meet with staff throughout the organization on issues related to the recording and use of gifts, campaign finance strategy, and other issues that are brought up by the Finance division. The Manager will work with other key managers in the division on addressing financial standards. S/he will handle internal transfers of funds related to gifts and operations. May perform independent research and analysis and present results and recommendations to management, operating units and other audiences, as appropriate. S/he will need to learn and work within the existing and future accounting systems of the Conservancy. S/he will ensure compliance with internal and external financial, accounting and administrative policies and procedures. TNC BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
