Job Description: 
Tesla Motors is looking for Repair Operations Advisor to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position requires a significant understanding of automotive operational procedures and the ability to drive process to improve data gathering. This position is located at our Fremont factory and may require travel as needed and directed by management. Responsibilities:

Be the point person for all questions regarding billing of labor/parts (customer pay, warranty, ...), applying complaint, cause, and correction codes, capturing labor time, and other repair documentation processes

Contribute to repair documentation process development and recommendations for process improvements

Analyze reports for proper documentation practices, and develop corrective actions as needed

Provide training and follow up for Service Center teams to ensure correct coding of labor operations and parts consumption across all locations

Generate reports on pre-determined KPIs such as labor efficiency and parts consumption

Perform other related duties as assigned

Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
Requirements:

3+ years of professional experience in an automotive company or related environment, and familiarity with warranty coding procedures

4-year college/university degree or additional professional credentials (automotive technology certification or background a plus)

Capability of identifying critical process parameters and applying statistics to process measurement and control

Microsoft Excel skills including vlookups, pivot table creation, filters, and chart development

Comfortable learning new information systems and extracting data (ability to query MS Access data, basic database knowledge)

Experience in working with various teams performing process audits, and to pursue a broad range of improvement opportunities based on these audits

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Maintain and perform top level professional integrity and appearance
