The Application Support Associate will be part of the Application Operations team within Corporate Systems Application Operations (CSAS) Group in Glendale, AZ. The Application Operations team is a 5/24 operation.

The Application Support Associate will be responsible for the following:

Batch Job Administration (scheduling, execution, monitoring, and reporting)
Application Access Administration (setting up new users and resetting passwords)
Configuration Management (Harvest Code Package Migrations)
Application Printer Administration and Basic User Support
Performing other tasks and duties as assigned

The selected candidate will normally be required to work an eight hour shift between 5:30am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The exact start and end times may change with little notice. Weekend and holiday schedules are rotated, and there may be occasional overtime or an overnight shift.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree or 5+ years of relevant information systems experience
3+ months of experience with generic batch job scheduling and monitoring tools

Level II Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree or 6+ years of relevant information systems experience
8+ months of experience specifically with Oracle 11i Concurrent manager, SAP Job Scheduling and Cronacle
Basic software programming experience

Additional Qualifications

Basic experience Application user administration
Experience with Unix-Basic, Templar (EDI)
Knowledge and experience with software support, development, maintenance and/or computer operations
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite of operating systems and architectures
Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment
Assertive in learning new technologies and proactive in proposing, implementing new ideas and processes
Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree
Redwood Cronacle experience
Some form of software development (Java, .NET, C)
Windows command line, Powershell, UNIX/LINUX scripting
Windows/UNIX/LINUX OS familiarity
