CH2M HILL 3rd Shift Plumber - Atlanta, Georgia

The challenge? Helping deliver safe, reliable and extremely competitive integrated facilities management services that focus on enhancing the life-cycle and performance output of our clients' assets. Our 3rd shift Plumber careers provide you with an opportunity to perform a wide variety of skilled preventative and complex equipment maintenance duties. This position serves our client at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA) at their 5 million+ square foot facility in Atlanta. Each day, you will be the face of CH2M HILL as you perform moderately complex duties of a specialized nature, frequently requiring independent analysis and decision-making. You should be a self motivated professional with a minimum 3-5 years of related experience and technical training in specialized areas of industrial or commercial facility plumbing maintenance work and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally. We provide 24/7 facility maintenance and repair services to our HJAIA client, and this plumber position will be assigned to our Third Shift, which operates from 10:00 PM until 6:00 AM.

The Plumber possesses the following knowledge: Working knowledge of principles, practices, materials, tools and equipment used in plumbing installation, maintenance and repair; ability to perform journeyman level plumbing equipment repairs, installations, and maintenance; the ability to inspect major piping systems and identify operating problems; perform complex troubleshooting and repairs; manage plumbing maintenance and required documentation; fulfill the requirements for any documentation and required record keeping; the ability to input time into computer maintenance management systems and navigate to all fields that are applicable; willingly perform other duties as directed by the Shift Supervisor.

Our Plumber:

Adhere to all site standards for safety, quality, housekeeping and security.
Work as a journeyman craftsman, performing complex trouble-shooting and repairs on all types of industrial equipment.
Perform complex trouble-shooting and repairs on all types of industrial equipment.
Operate standard plumbing equipment and tools.
Read and understand blueprints and/or schematic diagrams.
Work on a wide variety of mechanical and piping and equipment.
Maintain equipment and systems maintenance logs.
Implement standard trade practices and procedures coexistent with proper safety precautions, to produce quality workmanship, commensurate with that of a journeyman.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience in plumbing related operations and maintenance
HS Diploma
Ability to read and understand piping and equipment drawings

Degree Required

High School or GED
