•Must have obtained a Bachelor or Master's of Science degree in Structural Engineering from a 4 year accredited college or university or will obtain a Bachelor or Master's of Science degree in Structural Engineering from a 4 year accredited college or university prior to the start of this position.
•Less than 12 months post graduation professional experience in structural engineering.
•Excellent oral and technical writing skills.
•Available to start immediately.
•Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.
•Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident from an eligible country according to eCFR 810.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's in Structural Engineering
• 3.5 GPA
• EIT Certification
• Coursework in advanced theory of structures, dynamic analysis, and finite element analysis
• Previous work or internship experience related civil/structural design
• GTSTRUDL or ANSYS experience
• Previous internship with URS Corporation or other EPC company specific to nuclear power generation.
• Preference given to those attending or graduated from one of the following URS EC focus schools:

URS Corporation is seeking a Structural Engineer I for upcoming projects expected to begin over the next three months. This position will be based in our Fort Mill, SC location.
This individual will assist engineers with preparing design calculations and analyses structures and for performing others related to design of nuclear power plants.
