TNC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides overall direction/leadership for all activities related to accounting/finance, administration, personnel, and information systems within the Worldwide Office (WO) Marketing Division, one of the largest, most complex Operating Units (OU) at the Conservancy. S/he is part of the management team. S/he is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of annual budgets (currently $52M) and manages the processes for annual planning, submission of periodic and annual financial and technical reports and monitoring progress of goals. S/he is responsible for developing operational guidelines to ensure efficient management of the division and compliance with regulations. S/he may oversee the coordination of trainings/meetings and document activities, strategies and lessons learned as appropriate. S/he works in collaboration with other operations staff on personnel and HR-related issues and provides guidance to others in satisfying administrative requirements by working closely with the Operations Manager and the HR Manager. Duties are highly confidential and require broad and comprehensive knowledge of TNC's policies. This position reports to the VP of Marketing. The Director of Finance & Operations manages three people. Areas of concentration on the Finance portion of the position include, but are not limited to:
