Supervisor - Sanitation Services - The Villages, FL The challenge? We provide a range of custom-tailored operations and maintenance solutions of all public and private utility systems for our client in The Villages, Florida. The project encompasses ten water treatment systems, four wastewater treatment plants, and collection and distribution systems, meter reading, and residential and commercial sanitation services. The Villages, located outside of Tampa, serves a population of 87,000 residents. As our Sanitation Supervisor, you will supervise the Sanitation services in The Villages. You will be supervising a team of 64 employees and a fleet of 21 sanitation trucks; services over 40,000 pickups per week and preparing work schedules, assiting with employee evaluations, budgeting and the overall success of this very critical position. Customer service is clearly an important part of this position. Health and Safety are a key element to oversee the project. Background in Sanitation and Public Works are part of the basic qualifications required to interview for this position. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: The work area can involve a working environment indoors as well as outdoors, which could cause exposure to outdoor elements; proper environmental attire will be required.
