Job Description:  The Body Shop International have an excellent opportunity for a data anaylst to work within our fast paced global business providing critical business data which enables key business decisions from new product development to store layout. This role offers excellent career progression prospects and an insight into IT and liaison with many different departments within The Body Shop.

The Data Analyst will run all aspects of the SAP Point of Sale Data Management (POS DM) system ensuring all transactional data from customer systems are validated and processed through to Business Warehouse and SAP ECC6

Support the Finance POS team, supporting and maintaining the necessary configuration in SAP ECC6 for optimization of bank statements, tenders and POS Inbound related processes.

Key Job Accountabilities:


  • Effectively manage and prioritise assigned day-to-day workload including participating in the on call rota for team (to cover exceptional out of hours issues)

  • Ensure that control is maintained over the SAP PIPE (PoS Inbound Processing Engine) application, that incoming transactional data is processed efficiently, and that any issues arising are resolved in a timely fashion

  • Support in the delivery of International Core Systems enhancements, projects and Change Requests for POS DM with a focus on people, process and technology, driving delivery and ensuring time, cost and quality requirements are achieved.

  • Offer support in maintaining the quality of the POS DM solution through the implementation and execution of structured, high quality processes.

  • Work with the Team Leader to identify and promote new solutions or enhancements with the POS Finance Team to meet International TBS business requirements.

  • Support the Team Leader to provide specific business application expertise through training, self-learning methods and knowledge transfer from and to peers.

  • Maintain the quality of the International SAP solution through the design, implementation and execution of structured, high quality processes.

An understanding of business processes and business strategy

Experience:


  • A quick "thinker" with the ability to recognize issues and identify solutions.

  • Self-motivated and process driven, with experience of working in a high-pressured environment, working to deadlines, working alone, and using own initiative.

  • Previous experience of leading change and project management delivery, desirable.

  • Clear communicator verbally and written, with good ability to produce process and procedure documentation in business terminology where required.

  • Preferably business experience in a non-IT role.

  • Previous experience of project administration lifecycle within POS DM applications or similar, including awareness of SAP Retail.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Ideally experience of data handling through Excel use including lookup & pivot table functions


Qualifications:


  • University degree or equivalent, desirable
