AECOM has an excellent career opportunity for a Civil water/wastewater project engineer. This person will perform process improvements on municipal water and wastewater infrastructure facilities, to include pump stations, pipelines and treatment facilities.
Duties:
Conduct successful process improvement projects leading to better performance, as well as energy and chemical savings for the plants.
Manage plant research and development work
Develop new standard operating procedures and provide operator training.
Manage Wastewater Enterprise internship program .
Provide engineering support to Operations on a daily basis.
Client Interaction and Relationship Management Qualifications:
8-12 years of experience as a consulting engineer in the municipal water/wastewater industry.
B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering. MS preferred
PE license preferred. Water/wastewater process treatment design experience including development of conceptual/preliminary designs, detailed design document preparation, and engineering services during construction.
Previous wastewater project experience in the San Francisco Bay and or surrounding areas.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.
