AECOM of North Carolina provides services to NCDOT, SCDOT, state agencies, municipalities, universities, and private clients. Our team of engineers and scientists are problem solvers who know how to develop innovative, cost-effective and sustainable solutions using state of the industry technology. We are seeking a junior level Highway Engineer. The selected candidate w ill be responsible for preparing calculations, CADD drawings, cost estimates, support documentation under the guidance of a more senior level engineer. This position will be a support role for a project team primarily in an office environment at a work station but could involve some field work for site inspection, construction inspection, attending public meetings or meetings with clients and other project related agencies. Project type will vary and could include roadway, bridge, and hydraulic project types. Position will require experience in CADD, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office products. North Carolina Department of Transportation, MicroStation and GEOPAK experience a plus.
