Job Duties: Training & Development Spec Ill. The Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the X-340 Complex operations in developing, implementing, and delivering FBP-related training programs for UF6 Transfer and handling operations, as well as revising, coordinating and conducting existing training programs. The Training Specialist will work directly with Nuclear Operations Uranium Material Handlers and Chemical Operators providing 0-the-Job Training. The Training Specialist will also work with the X-340 Complex Training Manager to develop competency based, technical training programs and perform other tasks as requested. The Training Specialist works with Subject Matter Experts and X-340 Complex Training Manager to develop competency based, technical and performance-based training module s . The Training Specialist develops Instructor-led or On-the-Job training modules for Nuclear Operations in support of the ISMS implementation progra m . Required Qualifications: BA in Human Resources- Organizational Development or ; BAtS in related field with demonstrated competency in curriculum development. >10 yrs training and development, preferably at DOE remediation site(s). Demonstrated understanding of Uranium Hexafluoride ( U F 6 ) handling requirements, hazards and controls is required. Security _ Clearance Required: " L " or the ability to obtain an "L " clearance Other Desirable Qualifications: Ten years nuclear facility operations experience with hands-on experience in UF6 autoclave operations, UF6 cranes, and FBP UF6 operations and programs.
