As we are experiencing growth across the region, we are proactively seeking applications for the role of Sustainability Leader, US East Coast. Responsibilities include: • Develop a professional sustainability service, relevant to buildings Clients which include architects, owners and promoters • Development of advanced design and modeling services around sustainable solutions including low energy, and healthy workplace solutions • Development of environmental benchmarking services around various existing rating tools • Liaison with peers in the global AECOM network to ensure best practices are adopted and to support the development of professional sustainability services during the development phase • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the various international and local rating systems • Maintain a thorough knowledge of advanced modeling techniques to enable interface between our clients and AECOM global capabilities • Maintain an existing industry profile by membership of rating organization governance structures and active participation in seminars and industry organizations • Provide thought leadership to ensure our service offering is relevant and compelling • Business development both in independent commercial professional sustainability services and as an adjunct to our planning and design and building engineering practices • Develop specification materials suitable for integration within our planning and design, and building engineering specification framework • Conduct internal seminars to raise the standard of knowledge of AECOM practitioners in associated fields • Develop a cooperative and supportive relationship with all AECOM business line and regional leaders.
