Work independently and be able to run all technical aspects of a project including supervising and mentoring junior staff. Prepare design models and calculations for various structural elements including foundations, retaining walls, structural steel members columns and beams as well as reinforced concrete elements.Prepare blast and progressive collapse models for internal and external explosions and their impact of various types of facilities and design such for the calculated dynamic loads.Prepare sketches and be able to use AutoCAD and Revit. Prepare structural analysis models using various software. Conduct field inspections and condition assessments and prepare reports Licensed Structural Engineer with minimum of 10 years of experience, higher degree desirable. Good knowledge and expertise in the areas of blast and progressive collapse including earthquake engineering, finite element methods and dynamic analysis is required. Experience with various software packages for analysis and design such as RAM Steel, ETABS, SAP 2000, AutoCAD and REVIT Structures is a must in addition to Microsoft office. Good communications skills written and verbal.
