Job Description:  Objective
 
The person filling this position will be expected to strengthen our dynamic Houston-based environmental remediation team serving the oil & gas industry globally by developing business from our key accounts and promoting excellent technical delivery of remediation and related environmental projects.
 
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
 
In essence the job is functioning as a senior seller-doer, developing and expanding our relationships with our Tier 1 and 2 oil & gas remediation clients in Houston, as well as, significant Tier 3 clients for the geography. The position would work closely with and be supported by our Global Oil & Gas Sector Leadership and our Oil & Gas Account Teams.
 
Specific responsibilities include:
 
• Direct sales to AECOM current clients, supplemented by the candidate's own pre-existing relationships to result in an increased volume of remediation business
 
• Set strategy and goals for growth in the remediation business and engage other AECOM staff to support of the sales efforts
 
• Senior technical support and peer review of existing projects to improve technical performance
 
• Project manage key remediation projects for developed clients
 
• Identify resources needed to meet client expectations and to grow the accounts, as well as, assisting with the recruiting of those resources into AECOM Environment
 
• Regular day-to-day tasks will include:
 
o developing strong relationships with the clients
 
o introducing key personnel to these clients
 
o identifying opportunities
 
o participating in proposal development
 
o project direction and technical review
 
o reviewing project performance
 
• Travel as required by the responsibilities above
 
Qualifications:
 
• B.S. Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or a relevant Scientific degree, M.S. preferred
 
• Internally motivated and sales-driven
