Job Description:

Senior NEPA Mining Project Manager will be based in our Fort Collins, Colorado office. This person will be responsible for business development and management of projects related to environmental permitting/EISs/EAs for precious metals, other minerals, and coal projects in the Western US. This is an exciting opportunity to work with professionals who have been in this field for 20 plus years and have an opportunity to work on diverse types of projects. We are the center of excellence for mining NEPA at AECOM!

Job Duties:
Responsible for business development, proposal writing; project management; coordination and tracking of tasks, schedules, budgets, and deliverables; technical information and project staff coordination; client and agency contact; and technical writing and editing.

Skills/Qualifications:

10 plus years of EIS/EA management experience of mining projects
Bachelors Degree required
Ability to multi-task well by working on several assignments at a time.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Strong mine NEPA and permitting experience in western states and familiarity with federal and state mine regulations and permiting requirements.
Experience managing mining EISs and EAs for projects where the BLM, USFS, USACE, or USEPA was the lead agency.
Ability to travel for work asignments.
