AECOM Technical Services seeks to engage a Senior Program Manager to serve as the Southwest District Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Lead. The Program Manager will be responsible for the business development activities related to the EH&S Compliance Market in Southern California, Arizona and New Mexico. The Program Manager will oversee, enhance and manage the technical work of the EH&S Compliance Staff located in the five Southwest District AECOM offices. The Program Manager will work closely with the AECOM Southwest District Program Manager for Air Quality in order to grow both practices within the District. In this role, you will be expected to work closely with AECOM's Global EHS Management Consulting Director and Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Practice Leaders in other regions to provide strategic and tactical support. Other responsibilities include: 1) Preparation and/or negotiation of environmental permits, plans, reports. 2) Environmental regulatory interpretation and implementation. 3) EH&S audit and compliance assistance to AECOM clients. 4) Environmental Management Information Systems assistance to AECOM clients. 5) Due Diligence, Phase I EAs, and Property M&A transactions. • Bachelor Degree in science, engineering or information technology. • 15 plus years of relevant EHS consulting, management systems and compliance experience with emphasis on environmental rules and regulations for California and nearby states. • Experience working with environmental regulatory agencies, Cal-EPA, SCAQMD, SWRCB, RWQCBs, DTSC, local CUPAs, Cal-OSHA, various water districts, etc. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Proficiency in MS OfficeTM (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook). • Previous Line Management. • Proven Marketing Experience ($1MM in sales/year) • ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 experience preferred.
