To Oversee and direct the construction operations, business development, market search, public relations, and be the primiary point of contact with the clients for growing the Sports Facilities market segment. Act as project executive, have the knowledge of the market segment, oversee from an executive level the field operations throughout the Americas, with potential to expand into international markets. Take the lead for Construction Services in strengthening partnerships with other AECOM business lines and alliance partners to devleop the Sports Facilities market segment B. Key Areas of Responsibility 1. Actively participate in developing a sound business plan and execute such for the Sports Facitlities market segment. 2. Business Development - Manage the business development of the market segment by evaluating and following up on leads, recommend solicitations for response, analyzing fee projections, organize and control the responses to requests for proposals, and manage oral presentations to potential clients and developers. Be the face of Construction Services to perspective clients and maintain the client facing leadership role as work progresses. 2. M a rket Search - Execute market searches by networking with developers, Brokers, Architects, Engineers, subcontractors, and business associates. 3. Knowledge of Subcontractors - Continuously analyze and maintain the knowledge of the local subcontractors, to be up to date on current market pricing and man power availability by networking the subcontractors. 4. Field Operations - Direct the solicitation and pricing of projects, provide input to control the schedule of preconstruction activities and assist in field operations on an as needed basis. Be able to resolve potential construction issues and adhere to budget and schedule. C. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Good management and organizational skills to work on several proposals and active projects to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal, motivation, persuasion skills needed to communicate with principals of developers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. It is vital that a knowledge of the corporations objectives as well as a basic understanding of the services being marketed to project the image of the corporation. Prepare contracts and negotiate agreements. Management skills to motivate people and be able to integrate functions so all people work as a team towards a common goal. 15+ years of proven, progressive experience in managing Sports Facilities construction projects required. Relevant 4 years degree required (Engineering, Construction Management or related field).
