Duties & Responsibilities: May include but not limited to the following:


  • Experience and skill in strategic business development, client relationships and driving revenue in the healthcare markey in P3, private Healthcare providers and VA.
  • A proven track record in winning and delivering major hospital projects in the US and Canada in particular.
  • A team builder who can build a network across multiple offices and drive a geography wide business.
  • Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the concept, planning design and/or construction administrative activities and personnel under his/her direction on a day-today basis
  • Support business development activities through early client interaction, "scope of work" development, interviews, and on-going client maintenance interface
  • Develop and maintain client contacts to build a network.
  • Manage large/multi-disciplined project /consultant teams
  • Establish project scope, work plan and work schedule and ensure this is communicated to project staff and department managers
  • Deliver strategic planning at strategy and implementation level in Healthcare with a focus on understanding the owners needs.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered within the client budget and on the client schedule
  • Ensure that projects are delivered with the agreed fee and deliver the stated profit
  •  Interface with clients on schedules, meetings and issues (manage client expectations)
  • Work with design team members to develop sustainable engineering solutions in support of the design concept.
  • Advise senior management of the project status on a regular basis
  • Anticipate potential schedule or priority delays and initiate plans for alternative actions
  • Monitor performance vs. budget and develop strategies for corrections
  • Train, mentor and develop staff to grow the business
  • Ensure that QA/QC procedures are being implemented and followed at all phases of a project in accordance with
  • AECOM's Quality Assurance Program procedures
  • Maximize profit while minimizing risk
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the responsibilities to both the Company and the client as set forth by the contractual agreement
Education: 


  • Bachelor's degree in related subject or equivalent experience, Master degree preferred
  • Registration or licensing required.
Experience:



  • Experience in leading a healthcare market sector with a large multinational company.
  • Engineering leadership and Project management experience in the healthcare sector market in the US and Canada.
  • Candidate generally has over 15 years of related experience including over 10 years in a supervisory role.
  • Candidate generally has managed the engineering design for very large institutional projects (i.e. hospitals, medical office building, ambulatory care center, central utility plant, projects).
