We are currently seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the business development efforts and management of environmental permitting and engineering related to Clean Air Act Compliance, including State and Federal permitting, for electric power industry clients. The candidate will identify, pursue, capture and deliver multi-media environmental services (focusing on air services) to existing and prospective clients. In addition, this person will be able to scope, manage and execute air permitting projects in the areas of air control technology review, calculation of source emissions, performing regulatory applicability reviews, and completion of technical reports and permit applications. This position will provide support and manage tasks for air permitting and compliance projects, provide technical expertise and direction resolution of air permitting strategy issues and mentor and train junior staff. Duties include: Business development; proposal writing; project management; coordination and tracking of tasks, schedules, and deliverables; technical coordination; client and agency contact; staff coordination and mentoring; and technical writing and editing. Provide technical direction and assistance to project team; p articipate in business development activities for the Northeast air quality practice and on national basis; prepare technical papers and participate as a speaker/session chair at technical conferences and internal client webinars. Requirements: • B.S. or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Environmental Science with at least 20 years of related experience is required. • Advanced degree preferred. • Strong technical background and experience business development and project execution related to the electrical power industry. • Strong experience and relationships with the EPA and other regional and local permitting agencies. • Strong organizational and project management skills required. • Supervisory experience required. • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to details and schedules. • Must possess good interpersonal skills, maintain professional candor at all times. • Must be analytical with attention to detail, able to multi-task, and well organized. • Must be able to travel for projects as needed.
