AECOM is currently seeking science and engineering/construction professionals with 0-5 years of experience (in the northeast) in environmental field compliance and construction oversight with focused experience relating to working near wetlands and water bodies to serve as a full-time Environmental Inspectors on a multi-year project.
Qualifications:
- BS/ degree in Environmental Science, Biology/Wetlands Science or related field
- 0-5 Years of industry experience
- Flexibility with regard to working in various project locations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring environmental permit conditions in a construction setting and erosion control certifications - preferred
- Background in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut natural resources regulations - especially water resources as it relates to linear infrastructure projects - preferred
- Ability to work long hours (with paid overtime) in a construction environment and some weekends is needed Strong verbal and written communication skills helpful along with working as part of a larger team
- OSHA 40 Hour H&S Training Certified preferred.
