| Job Description: |
• Work with Business Units to design and develop effective Business Intelligence solutions. • Play a variety of roles with a high degree of proficiency throughout the BI project lifecycle: Business Analyst, Solution Architect, Metadata Modeler, Report Developer, OLAP Developer, etc. • Collaborate with Data Architects and ETL Developers to design or enhance data warehouse models. • Collaborate with principal team members to prepare project estimates, timelines and proposals. • Provide detailed documentation and knowledge-transfer to team members and super users. • Be a coach and mentor to your junior peers. • Never stop learning new technologies and strive to become a thought leader in all facets of Business Intelligence. Basic Requirements: • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field. • 4+ Years of experience designing and developing enterprise business intelligence solutions using IBM Cognos software. • Deep understanding of dimensional data modeling concepts, as well as data warehouse design and lifecycle management principles. • Working knowledge of major database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server) • Master-level proficiency in SQL programming and common query optimization techniques. • Exceptional problem solving skills, high customer standards and dedication to accurate warehouse data. • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills Preferred Requirements The strongest candidates will meet the following additional criteria: • Extensive experience in designing and implementing IBM Cognos enterprise business intelligence solutions for Corporate Finance organizations. • Strong User Interface (UI) and/or User Experience (UX) design skills. • Experience in designing and developing OLAP solutions using IBM Cognos Transformer and TM1. • Master-level proficiency in MDX. • Working Knowledge of JavaScript and/or Java. • Experience designing and developing solutions using the Cognos SDK. • Experience working with Noetix Analytics and/or Oracle E-business Suite What We Offer AECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people.
