Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Project Manager in our San Antonio, TX office to direct and perform highly complex or specialized aspects of engineering related projects for our Water business line. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to manage and direct a full range of projects and programs in the municipal community infrastructure market in the San Antonio area.
The successful candidate will manage projects involving multiple disciplines and subcontracts as well as stakeholder, client and /or schedule challenges and project fees. Inherent in this job is the need for effective communication, prior experience, and the ability to share knowledge, experience, expertise and information between projects and disciplines. The Project Manager ensures that the project team functions effectively, and she or he will perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

Leading the development of major project proposals,
Directing project leaders and technical specialists in the development and implementation of project scopes, budgets and schedules.
Strengthening existing client relationships and developing future opportunities.
Building a high performing team by creating a work environment that supports teamwork and cooperation; attracts, retains, develops, and rewards talent.
Providing direction and mentoring to the project team members enabling them to gain knowledge, skills and ability to perform their roles through formalized training, on the job training, coaching, and stretch assignments

Required Qualifications:

Registered as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and eight (8)+ years of experience in land development, water, wastewater, drainage or other community infrastructure type projects with demonstrated project management abilities.
Demonstrated experience in the San Antonio market related to land development, roadway, water distribution, wastewater collection, drainage, and water quality designs.
Proven excellent leadership skills, demonstrated ability to successfully manage diverse teams, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.
