Job Description:  AECOM's Denver office seeks professionals with strong project and program management skills.   You will be working with a team of Program and Project managers overseeing the day to day delivery of hundreds of transportation projects throughout the state of Colorado.  
  
Duties: 


  • Quickly learn and understand project work scopes. 
  • Knowledge and ability to review then develop project delivery schedules and budgetary cost estimates. 
  • Understand various contract delivery methodologies such as design-bid-build, design/build and CM/GC. 
  • Preparation of all design submittal transmittal correspondence to stakeholders or other agencies as required. 
  • Provide weekly updates or updates as required to Project Manager and/or client regarding design status, certain project technical elements, work status of other consultants which may be integrated with design team. 
  • Ability to recognize and anticipate issues that influence the project delivery such as "ahead of schedule" and "under-budget".   
  • Work with construction contractors and subs aligning them with project requirements. 
  • Be an effective communicator while working with dozens of different client teams on delivering their projects.   Including phone & conference calls, attending meetings, and communicating with client staff.
Qualifications: 

  • BS Engineering, PE a plus. 
  • 10 years' experience working on transportation projects. 
  • Experience with highway and bridge projects preferable.
  • Previous experience leading multiple disciplines (Civil, Structural, Drainage, Traffic Engineering, etc.) in the completion of preliminary and final design documents for highway and bridge projects. 
  • Familiar of project controls and performance measurement techniques. 
  • Familiarity with design process as it relates to clearance activities associated with ROW, environmental, utility relocation, Rail Road, etc.
