Role Overview (Short Term Assignment - 8 months) Provide onsite, real time support resolving concrete and structural steel issues as they arise through the point of 90% concrete placement and 80% steel installation of the project. Function as the main Resident Engineering Team point of contact for coordination with Civil & Structural related issues. Responsibilities include: Monitor the PTR program for Civil and Structural related issues and provide or expedite design engineering responses as required. Provide onsite support for concrete cracking issues and act as liaison with HO Engineering (Civil & MET) as required. Provide knowledgeable material management support for materials purchased as part of the HO engineering effort. Support civil and structural aspects of late design changes during the term of the field assignment. Basic Qualifications B. S. Degree in Engineering Good communication skills Familiar with cost / schedule considerations Familiar with BSAP's associated with civil and structural design - Staad.Pro, FOUNDS, Smart Plant 3D, CORe, Tekla Steel Detailing Familiar with Bechtel Civil and Structural design guidelines and processes Familiar with the GLNG project specific specification requirements or at a minimum previous exposure to the design of ConocoPhillips LNG technology based LNG plant projects Bechtel is among the most respected engineering, procurement, and construction companies in the world.
