Serve as an O&AS member of the BSII InfoWorks Implementation Team.This position will be located in Reston, VA.

Role Overview
  • Participate in all facets of InfoWorks and eRoom implementations and migrations in support of BSII projects and functional departments. This includes planning, scheduling, resourcing and reporting progress.
  • Working with both the BSII InfoWorks Implementation Team members and project assigned support staff, plan and execute implementations and migrations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Working with project administrators and designated superusers, help projects and functional departments effectively implement available InfoWorks and eRoom functionality consistent with established functional department and project document control and records management procedures, guidelines and work processes.
  • Interface with project/functional management as necessary to communicate issues of interest related to InfoWorks and eRoom.
  • Prepare training material for all levels of InfoWorks and eRoom usage and participate in conducting of training.
  • The training may be provided in office or jobsite locations, and may be conducted as part of a group presentation or solo presentation.
  • Contribute content to the BSII InfoWorks website and Chatter discussion groups.
  • Provide demonstrations of InfoWorks and eRoom and various available functionality as required.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new functionality provided in InfoWorks and eRoom and work as part of the team to effectively offer new functionality and work process improvements to all projects.
  • Following initial implementation for projects, maintain contact with project representatives to assure effective use of the application.
  • Participate in regular group meetings.
  • Participate in testing of new versions/functionality.
  • As part of the team, investigate potential of new technology as offered to the extent it impacts the use of InfoWorks and eRoom on projects (i.e., interfaces with other BSAPs)
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years of related experience; or Bachelor Degree in a related field and 3 years of related experience with InfoWorks and eRoom on projects (i.e., interfaces with other BSAPs)

Additional Information
Minimum Qualifications
  • Applicant should have advanced to expert skills in the use of InfoWorks demonstrating ability to manage docbase structure, users, groups, and access control lists via Documentum Administrator, review logs and incorporate corrections, manage and update distribution and validation information, configure transmittals, manage use of Configuration Management module, complete mass import and export of objects using IWLoader and IWExporter, configure and update document numbering tool, and manage and configure tool utilities. May be required to build and run DQLs, standard report design, and configure numbering profiles.
  • Thorough knowledge of document control and records management systems (particularly InfoWorks) and related work processes.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using Windows Explorer and MS Office suite of tools is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • In depth knowledge and experience (preferably 2 years) using robust electronic document management systems (EDMS), preferably Documentum/InfoWorks.
  • Experience in using collaboration tools (such as eRoom) is desirable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and skill in all areas of document control, records management and associated systems including project records retention and turnover and project closeout (preferably in an engineering/construction environment).
  • Experience in process flow analyses and implementation.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and to exercise individual initiative, discretion, diplomacy and judgment.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to deal with pressure in a professional and positive manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work accurately and proficiently with details.
  • Able to independently anticipate changing priorities, unscheduled work tasks and to perform multiple work tasks and easily adjust to changing priorities.
  • Must be a team player and able to work well in a virtual team environment.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes on short notice.
