Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in Telecommunications
• 5+ specialized years of experience with DISA or DoD civilian agencies of the U.S. Government
• 5+years of experience supporting Program Protection
• Experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) is required.
• Ability to work with senior-level leaders and support personnel to respond to, plan for, and meet quick-response requests and facilitate execution of requests with higher organizational elements
• Ability to work independently with little supervision to produce consistently exceptional work
• Ability to respond to routine and high-priority customer requests in a timely, efficient, and friendly fashion
• Ability to maintain smooth working relationships with individuals and groups at various levels of authority and responsibility within and outside the organization
• Ability to formulate and resolve issues
• Ability to organize large quantities of diverse data into concise and useful information
• Proficiency in oral and written communications and demonstrated ability to prepare and present briefings to leadership
• Proficiency in preparing and reporting technical information to peers and executive managers
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced, high stress environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Certified Security Fundamentals Professional preferred
• TS/SCI clearance is required

Job Description: URS has an opportunity for a Program Protection Subject Matter Expert to join our team at Fort Meade in Maryland!
The Mid to Senior-level systems engineer will provide direct support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Candidate will be well versed in Program Protection, Opsec, and System Security and provide oversight of all Program Protection system engineering functions.
Tasks include:
• Develop Program Protection Plan
• Implement Program Protection Plan across multiple organizations
• Support development of Program directives and Initiatives to enhance Program Protection
• Ensure Staff is following said directives
• Develop and maintain sufficient understanding of the customer mission to support technical discussion related to Program Protectio
• Review documents to ensure the Program Protection Plan is being followed
• Prepare technical briefings as required
