1.To review and discuss the specified technical requirements and details with contractors to ensure that the Corporation's requirements are met. 2.To manage the design submission review process for the contract. 3.To review contractor's programmes, method statements, design submissions and commissioning procedures for compliance with project and site requirements. 4.To inspect the construction works for compliance with the specified standards for safety and quality. 5.To promote the partnering approach with the contractor and with all internal and external interfacing parties. 6.To manage the technical and logistical interfaces with all interfacing contractors by maintaining regular contact with other project colleagues and proposing solutions to interface issues. 7.To review proposed commissioning procedures and facilitate the commissioning tests with Operations colleagues and external parties as necessary. 8.To undertake site administration works including preparation of site instructions and maintaining records to ensure the contract status is effectively documented. Jobholder specification. A recognized degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent withsignificant relevant experience in managing the design and construction of Signalling works for large-scale railway projects in a multi-disciplinary environment. Solid experience in tender evaluation, design, implementation or T&C of a CBTC Signalling System is required. Corporate membership of a relevant professional institute is preferred.
