Job Description: 
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.
• Minimum six years of experience in related field position.
• Knowledge of Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) track safety standards and AREMA standards a plus
• Ability to fully understand and research plans, specifications, standards, and testing criteria associated with the work.
• Railroad signaling installation and testing experience required, including work in signal houses, grade crossing houses, and equipment cases.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

URS is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Signal Quality Assurance Representative for immediate employment in the San Francisco, CA office. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to provide oversight of Design-Build Contractor's QC/QA program for the installation of the wayside signaling system. Report observations and note contract deviations to client's Field Manager. URS is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

Incumbent Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Field Manager and Design-Builder's inspectors
• Prepare daily reports of field observations
• Verify progress
• Assist Field Manager with review of SSWPs, contract change requests, and installation drawings
• Support and coordinate with client's engineering, operations, real estate, and safety departments as needed
